[/span][/div][div style="text-align:center;"][span style="font-size:10pt;"]Charles Xavier, the world's foremost expert on the 'x-factor,' and those who benefit from it [mutants] is a good man, despite being [/span][i style="font-size:10pt;"]one of them.[/i][span style="font-size:10pt;"] From his youth he had the ability to converse telepathically with others and to a higher extent feel the pain they did, which made him see the world for what it was and knew he could help make it what it should be. Because he knew there had to be others like him, he decided on taking in a bunch of [at the time] youngsters to educate and then train them to be the protectors of both human and mutantkind. All was fine and dandy, that is until a year ago when he suffered the greatest betrayal and father ever could.[/span][/div][div style="text-align:center;"][span style="font-size:13.3333px;"]

[/span][/div][div style="text-align:center;"][span style="font-size:10pt;"]His [adopted] son, Scott Summers also known as his mutant/team alias Cyclops was involved in a two person covert operation to infiltrate a lab who was said to be experimenting on other mutants. Cyclops defied direct orders and instead of investigating, he went in with a hot head, which led to three scientists being killed by Cyclops' careless behavior. The government subsequently has come down hard on Xavier for not giving up the identity of the 'human hating mutant murderer' finding reasons to freeze his estate including his finances. Regardless, Xavier refuses to give Scott up and has made it clear that if anyone should be punished for the actions, it should be he.[/span][/div][div style="text-align:center;"][span style="font-size:13.3333px;"]

[/span][/div][div style="text-align:center;"][span style="font-size:10pt;"]Scott on the other hand, shows zero empathy for his actions- going so far as to blame the scientists for putting themselves in a position to even be believed to be experimenting on mutants. A major falling out between Xavier and Scott occurred, leaving Scott and his domestic partner; Emma Frost to leave and open their own 'school for the gifted' named The Summers Academy in Bedford Hills, New York. Scott and Emma has also went against Xavier's wishes and went public with their mutant identity! Up until now Xavier's 'school', named the Xavier Institute for the Gifted was believed to be for brilliant minds to come together in a boarding school environment, now with the admission of Summers and Frost, the wrong people are looking into Xavier and his pupils to see what exactly they are.[/span][/div][div style="text-align:center;"][span style="font-size:13.3333px;"]

[/span][/div][div style="text-align:center;"][span style="font-size:10pt;"]Which side are you on in the looming battle? Part of Xavier's belief that both humans and mutants can live together peacefully, so long as mutants act as guardians? Or Summers and Frost's idea that mutants are superior and should be treated as such!? A battle is looming, one that will cause mutants who otherwise have managed to remain out of the shadows to come forth to make their presence known- so that begs the question, where will you be..[/span][/div][div style="text-align:center;"][span style="font-size:13.3333px;"]
