Mutation Based Powers
Worthington III has wings that sprouted from his back upon turning 12. Roughly 16" in length, Angel can soar up to 10,000 feet and travel at around 150MPH. His mutations also altered his body so he has zero body fat which enables him to fly at the quickest speeds possible. Another mutation that also occurred was developing a healing factor- a system where his body can heal at a rapid pace. Angel can also draw his own blood and so long as someone he's attempting to help has compatible blood type, he can mix his with their's and their body will adapt and heal from otherwise fatal diseases and/or injuries.
-- At what age did the mutation first appear?: 12
Abilities
Due to his family being wealthy, Warren was introduced to a lot of 'for sport' activities such as fox hunting, duck hunting and clay shooting. He also is an avid fencer, swordsman and hand to hand combatant.
Strengths/Weaknesses
+ The ability of flight
+ Flying at high speed
+ Can flap his wings to send wind projectiles
- Despite the healing factor, he can be injured easily
- His wings are made of feathers, that can be damaged by fire
- His ability to mix blood to help someone else is limited to those of compatible blood type
Origins
Born Warren Worthington III to an influential East Coast family, his parents Warren Jr and Katherine raised him in the typical affluent lifestyle. Whether it be the prestigious boarding school or the seemingly unlimited bank account, he had the world by the throat. As he got older however, he suffered pain from bis back- mainly around the shoulder areas which the doctors summed up as 'growing pains.' One afternoon when he was out of class sick, wings tore from his flesh and emerged, bloody.. feather wings. In a panic he tried to remove them, cutting at them from the base but his body immediately healed, he knew he was different. He begun to change his appearance- mainly his shirt and blazers were a size or two bigger to compensate for the new addition to his body. During holiday break, Warren III's father walked in on him changing for dinner and saw the wings and belittled his son for 'different.' Ashamed that his son- his only one at that and namesake was a 'freak,' Warren Junior exhausted all options and used back channel communications to find Charles Xavier and washed his hands of his son- so he could be with people 'like him.' Warren however, adapted to his new family environment and developed quite a bond with Henry McCoy despite the few years difference. Even though he's of money, that didn't ruin who he is as a person as he's spend millions of dollars on efforts to bridge relationships between humans and mutants, even the small amounts of his kind that exist. Now, he's off traveling the world looking for other lost mutants that will be able to find a home and solace at the Xavier Institute much like he and the other X-FACTOR members did.
