Runs the site: I do, my name is Jus and I've been RPing for a lot longer than I can remember.
Is welcomed: Everyone, I like to think of our group as accepting to anyone who can help us build a fantastic story.
Can I RP as?: As of now, only real X-Verse based characters. Due to how vast MARVEL is, we want to build this ALT-U slowly.

What..

Can I do here?: Use any X-Verse MARVEL character and build a story.
Is the point of this site?: To add a new chapter into characters we know and love. I decided on creating my own 'Earth' as I couldn't find anything I really wanted to tinker with. I figured if I developed my own entry into the multiverse, it would allow much more freedom with characters than if we continued off with a pre-made one.
What is considered the writing level of the site?: I'd like to think intermediate to advanced, but we welcome anyone. As long as you're cool and you want to build stories, that's all we want.

Where..

Does the site take place in?: Primarily on the East Coast of the United States- mainly in the state of New York.
Is the characters not named in the "Then and now of X-FACTOR?: That's for you to decide. Do they exist here? How did they come to be? Is there similarities and/or differences to them from Earth-616 and other multiverses?
Did you get this idea?: I've always been a MARVEL fan. Due to how vast the history [and future] is with the characters, there's really no wrong take on them. We're free to interpret them as we see fit, and because of the multiverse, we can make changes to who they are as it doesn't affect the main timeline at all. I originally wanted to continue with the story we've read over the years but had the idea of.. what if the X-MEN characters we know.. never existed in that form? Where is Wolverine? Where is Gambit? Does Cable exist because Scott and Jean apparently never met in this multiverse? What about the thousands of other mutants, where are they and how do they play into this scenario? That's where we come in, we're able to weave our own tales -- we're free to shape new chapters of iconic characters lives.

Why..

Not use the stories we already know?: Because there's no fun in that, as this allows us to reuse ideas and events that's happened, but with our own twists on them. Will the LEGACY virus show up and wipe out mutantkind? Maybe; will there be M-Day? Possibly, that's why the site was created so we could have our own take on legendary events and to create completely new ones.
Is Scott Summers essentially the antagonist?: Honestly, I've hated him since I was small. My disdain for him has grown through the years ad I've already tinkered with the idea of what it'd be like if he took a hard stance against Xavier and embraced the arrogance he's shown to have during the character's run. I wanted to have him play a huge part in the site because he's easy to dislike, even when he tries to do the right thing. The character is conflicted, which is very good to use as a base to work off of.

How...

Do I incorporate characters into the site?: Don't feel overwhelmed, we all gotta start some where. Just because a well known character isn't known publicly, that's your chance to introduce them to the site. Are they young? Are they old? Are they going to decide to side with Xavier or with Summers and Emma? Or -- are they going to decide to do their own thing as they don't agree with either? There's really no wrong way to portray a character, I just ask that that you don't change [add or remove] powers, keep them as they are. You can adjust their history, but not too much. Keep them close to how they were formed, but it's OK to take liberties with them.
Do I contact the Admin if I need to ask a question?: DM the The Creator account and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Can I help the site?: Word of mouth. Pass the link around, the more writers we have, the better the story!
